Anish Kolan is from Dublin, California, and is now pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in Data Science at Arizona State University (ASU). His interest in community involvement began in middle and high school, when he was an active member of Dublin's Youth Advisory Committee. He was a youth and teen advocate who was involved in planning events, introducing community-building programs, and working on other city-beneficial projects. Currently, he takes up a leadership position at ASU by serving as an officer in the Python Users Group club. In this role, he focuses on teaching students the basics of Python so they may build a strong foundation for their future classes and get a more comprehensive grasp of the subject. He hopes to use his knowledge of cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning to inspire the next generation of people to follow their ambitions and make a positive impact. With a keen focus on research and development, he aims to delve deep into these domains, with a broader vision of expanding his knowledge across multiple industries. His primary goal is to drive students in the constantly evolving domain of computer science and associated subjects while making a major contribution to technological and security developments.
