Devin Parker
Spring 2023
Devin Parker is working towards her M.A. in International Affairs and Leadership at Arizona State University. Before obtaining her Master's Degree, Devin spent ten years working and volunteering within multiple non-profit organizations, including halfway houses, refugee resettlement, sexually trafficked and exploited women, and at-risk youth leaving the juvenile justice system. During her time at ASU, Devin has participated in Washington Week, a week-long leadership intensive that facilitated discussions involving diplomacy, ethics, foreign affairs, and national security. She also led a cross-cultural exchange program with the American University Kyiv, discussing foreign affairs and national security with Global Security Masters’ students from Ukraine. This Spring, Devin will participate in the first-ever Diplomacy Lab through the International Affairs and Leadership program, working on a research project for the American Embassy in Skopje, North Macedonia. After graduation, Devin hopes to join the Foreign Service. During her career in International Affairs, Devin desires to work with organizations and countries that push for fair and equitable treatment of women, extending rights for all women globally. She enjoys visiting local farmers' markets, parks, and cultural festivals with her three spunky little girls in her free time.
