Julia is originally from the Netherlands, but grew up in various countries around the world, including Kenya, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates. Currently, she is a sophomore, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in both Political Science and Sociology. Her career aspiration is to work in Public Policy that targets insufficient climate governance, human rights abuses, inadequate cyber security, and economic inequality. On a more personal note, she loves traveling, nature, playing soccer, going to concerts with friends, and being an active member in her community. A goal of hers is to create more projects aimed at increasing the access to clean water globally and closing the achievement gap in the U.S.
