Molly Sexton

Molly Sexton is a sophomore from Kansas City, Missouri majoring in Politics and the Economy as well as minoring in Philosophy. She is a motivated student as she is involved in Barrett, the Honors College and the Project Excellence Program. Her academic interests consist of foreign policy, gender related inequalities, global economics, economic justice, and political philosophy. Her academic strengths include writing, critical analysis, strategic thinking, and collaboration. Molly also has a passion for volunteering that stemmed from multiple programs that she was a part of in her hometown of Kansas City. These include leading sports activities for young girls at inner-city schools, as well as assisting refugees and homeless patients navigating a low-income health clinic. Additionally, Molly enjoys numerous activities such as playing sports, reading, traveling, and gardening. After completing her bachelor’s degree, Molly seeks to acquire additional schooling in either law school or a master’s program. She is delighted to be working with the LDNS lab and looks forward to learning throughout her time with the program.
