Anthony “Tony” Hale is a retired Army Lieutenant General with over 37 years of total service in global operations, intelligence and national security. He rose through progressively senior executive roles overseeing intelligence, security, and decision support functions for organizations supporting 800K+ personnel across active duty, reserve, guard, and civilian components. With over seven years of deployment in combat zones, he operated at the tactical, operational and strategic levels. In his last active-duty role, he served as the senior intelligence officer for the U.S. Army. He also served as the Senior Mission Commander and Commandant of the U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence, Fort Huachuca, AZ and the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC), Monterey, CA. Other key leadership roles include Senior Intelligence Officer for U.S. Special Operations Command, Operation Resolute Support (AFG), and Joint Special Operations Command. Throughout his career, Tony partnered closely with executive leaders, multinational allies, and interagency stakeholders across NATO, Five Eyes, and 18 Intelligence Community organizations. He holds a master’s degree “with Distinction” in National Security and Strategic Studies from the US Naval War College and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from North Carolina State University.
