Jesus Manuel Rendon-Silva, Jr.
Spring 2025
Jesus was born and raised in South Phoenix, Arizona, where the rich cultural diversity and tight-knit community shaped his values and aspirations. Currently a senior at Arizona State University, he is pursuing a double major in Political Science and Philosophy, driven by his passion for exploring the intersections of policy, ethics, and social justice. As a first-generation Latino college student, Jesus has gained valuable experience through internships with U.S. Senators Mark Kelly and Kyrsten Sinema, the White House, and private sector experience with Walmart, providing him with unique insights into public service, diplomacy, and leadership. Outside of academics, he enjoys building Legos, staying active at the gym, and trying new foods. Jesus is committed to advancing equity and leadership, particularly in U.S.-Mexico relations, while working to increase Latino representation in positions of power. With aspirations to enter lobbying and eventually run for public office in Arizona, he is determined to use his education, experiences, and passion for service to make a meaningful impact in his community and beyond.
