Lillian Meyer
Spring 2025
Lillian Meyer is a junior from Saint Paul, Minnesota pursuing a Criminology and Criminal Justice degree at Arizona State University (ASU). Ever since Lillian was young she dreamed of making the world a better place. As she continued her education and explored her many passions, she was introduced to several injustices and issues throughout our nation’s criminal justice system. It was then that Lillian knew that was how she was going to contribute to the world.
Lillian has a particular passion for drug-related crimes, specifically regarding Cartel movement and activities. She has explored this passion by researching effective crime reduction strategies in Northern Mexico as an Undergraduate Research Fellow with ASU. Lillian also has an interest in counterterrorism which deepened further through studying abroad in Northern Ireland focusing on Counterterrorism, Polarization, and Political Extremism.
Lillian’s dream career would be to work as a special agent for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), but her current path is to join as an Intelligence Officer in the Army following graduation in 2026. However, with her recent relocation to Washington, D.C. for the semester she is open to seeing where this experience takes her.
